What is MBUX? This acronym stands for Mercedes-Benz User Experience, which is the artificially intelligent infotainment software in the touchscreen in your dashboard. It utilizes voice recognition and Natural Language Understanding technology, so you can navigate its many features with your voice without having to memorize clunky voice commands.

Now that you know what the Mercedes-Benz UX is, how do you use this system? All you have to do is sit in the driver’s seat and say, “Hey, Mercedes.” This will turn the system on and allow you to access any of the features offered by MBUX with your voice or through the touchpad. What do you do if MBUX is not working? In most cases, all our Frankfort customers need to do is make sure the software has been updated. Generally, updates happen on their own, but it never hurts to check and see if your system hasn’t initiated the most recent update for some reason. Another trick is turning your car off and waiting a few minutes. Then, start it up again. If MBUX is still having issues, our mechanics can always take a look!
